As your Master of Ceremonies (MC) and Disc Jockey, I will coordinate the evening’s events in a smooth and professional manner, helping to keep the reception energized and fluidic.

My musical background comes from spinning records in a club setting. I understand that music moves people. Music sets the tone and energy at any gathering. It is my job to create a pleasurable and energetic evening for all your guests. The high energy of the club environment has taught me to intuitively “Read the Crowd”. I will play all the great tunes you would expect at your wedding and tailor the evening to your musical tastes. In addition, I also have several years of experience working as a wedding photographer assistant. Photographing weddings has given me access to many other DJ styles; helping me to perfect my own style and develop an intimate understanding to the natural progression of a wedding.

I enjoy getting to know my clients. I utilize a detailed Events Planner form to ensure clear communication of the style of music and to help create a smooth transition throughout the evening. We will work together to make your special day everything you envisioned. Music sets the mood. DJ M4 will help you celebrate one of the most important days of your life.

Come out to the Sedona Bridal Fair on Saturday, January 18. 2014 and meet Gabriel Browne with Downtown Brown Productions. He has been a professional DJ/MC for more than 10 years. With his long experience in clubs, weddings, special events and corporate parties Gabriel has honed his craft to a meticulous art and science. Knowing it’s not enough to have a library of thousands of songs if you can’t pick the right ones at the right time; Gabriel specializes in “reading the crowd” and will keep your party dancing all night long. With a collection of top hits music spanning every conceivable genre and every decade, from jazz to swing, country to hip hop, world to EDM, if you can name it he can mix it.

Master of Ceremonies – Many people can learn to play and perform music but it takes a special kind of person, and personality, to be an outstanding Master of Ceremonies. Gabriel is one of those people and throughout the years has continually impressed his clients and audience when he takes the stage to host an event. From the most intimate party to huge crowds, Gabriel will gain and hold your audience’s attention. His approach to any event is always tailored to his client’s needs. One day you might find him in a hosting a formal wedding, the next could be an upscale charity event, and then on to a big stage festival.

Musician – Gabriel has been performing on stage since he was a child. Growing up in the Big Apple, by the age of 12 Gabriel was riding the train from Long Island to Manhattan auditioning and being cast for theatre and film roles. When his parents moved the family to Sedona AZ, Gabriel discovered his love and desire to play and perform music. Now, after nearly fifteen years of study and dedication, Gabriel performs regularly throughout AZ. Playing a variety of instruments with a strong emphasis in Flamenco Guitar, Gabriel has collaborated and performs with such notables, as Greg Reiter, Fitzhugh Jenkins, Chuck Hall, and Richard Neville, at venues including The Boulder’s Resort, The Phoenician, Hyatt Gainy Ranch, and the Yavapai College Performance Hall.

Audio Engineer – Gabriel’s love of all things music eventually brought him to the world of live performance production and engineering. He began his company “Downtown Browne Productions” 10 years ago to provide top quality audio and video equipment and expertise to his clients and fellow artists. Gabriel has been described as having the “golden ears” as he mixes 15+ member bands quickly and easily creating a live sound that most people would only ever hear on a CD. Owning and using top brand equipment such as JBL, Yamaha, Allen & Heath, Presonus and Mackie, and the skills and knowledge to put them all to their full use; his clients are consistently astounded at how good their musicians sound. Some of the artists Gabriel has mixed and engineered for include Hip Hop greats “Digable Planets”, and “Blackalicious”, Reggae legends “The Original Wailers” and “Pato Banton”, Funk powerhouse “Carl Denson”, and Folk Music icon “Eliza Gilkeson”.
